REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BELGRADE - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik has pointed out that Bakir Izetbegovic's statement on Kosovo is a serious blow to Serbia and that he, after that, should be declared a non-grata person in Serbia.

BANJALUKA - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Zeljka Cvijanovic has stated that Srpska has great tourism potentials and that the Government supports all activities and projects that can contribute to new investments, job creation, and promotion of Srpska.

BANJALUKA - Republika Srpska Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Lejla Resic, has said that she discussed today in Banjaluka with national minorities’ representatives the funds planned in the next year's budget for financing the activities of the National Minorities Alliance.

BANJALUKA - Minister of Trade and Tourism of the Republika Srpska, Predrag Gluhakovic, has qualified as successful the cooperation with the Embassy of France in BiH on projects related to the organisation of the European Youth Olimpic Festival "EYOF 2019" on Jahorina, and expects more projects that would help improve the ski centres and winter tourism in Srpska.

BANJALUKA - Positive developments in the economy reflected in the growth of industrial production, exports and employment are evident in Republika Srpska, the Srpska Government's Economy and Finance Committee said today.

BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

SARAJEVO – Today, BiH Presidency Chairman Dragan Covic did not want to comment on Bosniak presidency member Bakir Izetbegovic’s position on the recognition of self-proclaimed Kosovo, pointing out that BiH needs to follow official Belgrade’s position.

SARAJEVO - During a meeting, BiH Presidency member from Republika Srpska, Mladen Ivanic, has warned Austrian Ambassador to BiH Martin Pammer that current political tensions are not only the result of a pre-election campaign.

SARAJEVO - Josip Macnkovic, a former member of the Republika Srpska Army of Croat background, has been identified at the Forensic Medicine Institute Banjaluka.

SARAJEVO - Chair of the SNSD Caucus in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, Stasa Kosarac, left the session of the Extended Collegium after the caucus’s request to postpone the continuation of the 53rd and the 54th session of this House, scheduled for tomorrow, was not accepted.

SARAJEVO – BiH has been elected a member of the World Heritage Committee of the UN Education, Science and Culture Organisation - UNESCO for the first time at today’s plenary session of the General Assembly of the countries, the contractual parties, of the World Heritage Convention in Paris.

BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Zorana Mihajlovic has assessed that Bosniak BiH presidency member Bakir Izetbegovic deliberately makes statements such as the recognition of the independence of self-proclaimed Kosovo in order to provoke Belgrade's reaction, although he knows that BiH cannot do it without the consent of the Serbs.

BELGRADE - Defence team of General Ratko Mladic will appeal not only to the ICTY, but also the UN, over the ICTY’s decision to ban medical visits to the general, his son Darko Mladic told SRNA. /end/vos
