RUNIĆ: ONLY 40,000 BAM FOR DRVAR AND FOR KUPRES 700,000 BAM FOR COMBAT AGAINST CORONAVIRUS

DRVAR, APRIL, 4 /SRNA/ - Mayor of Drvar Dušica Runić indicated that relation of the Federation of BiH /FBiH/ with the municipalities of the Serb-majority returnees is unequal even when it comes to combat with the coronavirus, because that municipalities received only BAM 40,000 from the Federal Ministry of Finance for these purposes, while BAM 700,000 was allocated to the municipality of Kupres.

Runić said to SRNA that, in such a difficult time, they decide who is more important and who is not, which can be seen on the basis of the allocation of funds.

"Does this mean that Serbs are exempt from recovery from the effects caused by the coronavirus and is it a part of a strategic plan to use the corona as an ally in the elimination of Serbs from the Federation", Runić asked.

She has stated that she understood the assistance to its people, but believes that "the authorities of the FBiH may be annoyed with the assistance of Srpska and Serbian to the municipalities of returnees".

Runić pointed out that Serbs participate in filling the budget of both the Federation and the Livno Canton, because returnee`s municipalities are extremely rich in natural resources and all have the benefit, except these municipalities, since they have been deprived of all their rights of management.

The mayor of Glamoč municipality Nebojša Radivojša has confirmed to SRNA that this local community, where the majority of the Serb returnees live, did not receive any BAM.

He called such an act shameful, since there should be no division at such times.

The FBiH Ministry of Finance has allocated BAM 9,800,000 to municipalities in the Federation from the budget for 2020. /end/bo
