SARAJEVO, JULY 2 /SRNA/ - The Constitutional Court of BiH rejected today a motion filed by members of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska to assess the constitutionality of a decision of the BiH Central Election Commission /CEC/ to postpone local elections until November 15, saying that it is in the jurisdiction of a regular court.

BANJALUKA, JULY 2 /SRNA/ - Head of the SNSD Caucus in the Republika Srpska National Assembly Igor Žunić has said that a decision of the BiH Constitutional Court, which declared itself not competent to assess the constitutionality of the BiH Central Election Commission /CEC/ decision to postpone local elections, was expected, and that a decision of the BiH Court is pending.

The provisional investigative commission of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly today, after five hours in session, heard the director of the Agency for Coordination of Police Bodies in BiH, Hasim Šabotić, director of the BiH Public Procurement Agency Đenan Salčin and judge of the Banjaluka District Court Milan Blagojević, and unanimously adopted conclusions.
