REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BANJALUKA – Republika Srpska Finance Minister Zoran Tegeltija has said that it is certain that Srpska and BiH have the lowest VAT rate in the EU and that claims by SDS president Vukota Govedarica that this is not true are another in a series of SDS’ populist statements.

SIPOVO – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Zeljka Cvijanovic and Sipovo Mayor Milan Kovac today put into operation a 4.4-km-long asphalted road in the community of Kozine, the construction of which was jointly financed by the Republika Srpska Government and this local community with KM 200,000 each.


BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA

SARAJEVO – The BiH Council of Ministers has adopted a report from the Ministry of Finance and Treasury about the execution of budget of BiH institutions and BiH’s international obligations for the period January-May, which says that revenues and support to the financing of BiH institutions amounted to KM 219,752,019, and overall expenditures to KM 215,526,265.

SARAJEVO – The BiH Council of Ministers today in Sarajevo issued decrees on approving additional employment in the Service for Affairs with Foreigners and the Ministry of Security, with the aim of reinforcing their human resources and implementing activities from the plan of emergency measures which are being implemented with the aim of preventing illegal entries of migrants.

SARAJEVO – BiH Foreign Minister Igor Crnadak has received a farewell visit from the Hungarian Ambassador to BiH, Josef Negyesi, and thanked Hungary for its support to BiH’s European integration process, both bilaterally and as a member and the current chair of the Visegrad Group.

SARAJEVO – The Speaker of the Republika Srpska Parliament, Nedeljko Cubrilovic, has called on all parties which have their seats in Republika Srpska to accept a joint Serbian list for the upcoming elections in the FBiH.

THE HAGUE – Bruno Stojic, a former official of Herzeg-Bosnia, will serve a 20-year prison term in Austria for war crimes in BiH, announced the International Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals.

GNJILANE – Three members of the Kossovo Police Service were arrested today in Gnjilane on suspicion of abuse of powers and duties, announced the KPS.

THE HAGUE – The Appeals Chamber of the International Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals has rejected a motion by Ratko Mladic’s defense lawyers to disqualify three judges for bias, saying that it has no the capacity to consider it.

BELGRADE – Ratko Mladic’s defense lawyers tomorrow will file a new motion for disqualification of three members of the Appeals Chamber of the Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals at The Hague, but will send it to a new address – to the president of the Mechanism, Mladic’s son Darko told SRNA.

ZAGREB – The European Commission has announced that it remains neutral and will not join Slovenia in a lawsuit against Croatia before the EU Court for its failure to implement the arbitration decision on border. /end/sg
