SARAJEVO, June 20 /SRNA/ - Dragan Čović, the Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, informed the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Miroslav Lajčak Thursday in Sarajevo of obstacles and the need to urgently form authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina at all levels, emphasising that the Council of Ministers should be formed as soon as possible.

Čović reiterated the Croat representatives' willingness for cooperation, reports the State parliament.

During the meeting there was talk of the political and security affairs in the country, as well as of Euro-Atlantic integration.

They stressed it was necessary to accelerate reforms and Čović once again emphasised the need for unimpeded institutional activities in reform processes, stating that it was possible to make progress in overcoming the impasse only through dialogue with partners in BiH.

Čović underscored the necessity of amending the Election Law as the only way to safeguard and protect the integrity, constitutionality and democracy of the election process, fully respecting the constituent people principle and legitimacy of representation at all administrative and political levels. /end/dš
