DERVENTA, August 19 /SRNA/ - Serb member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency Milorad Dodik stated at a celebration of the centennial of the Football Club Tekstilac in Derventa that the anniversary is significant not only for the club but for the local community as well, and conferred the Order of Njegoš 3rd class to club representative Duško Reljić, a decoration conferred to the club by President of Republika Srpska Željka Cvijanović.

TREBINJE, August 19 /SRNA/ - Serb member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik attended an evening service in the Church of the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ in Trebinje on Monday and a ceremonial procession held on the eponymous patron saint’s day of the city of Trebinje.

ŠAMAC, August 19 /SRNA/ - A memorial service was held in Gornja Crkvina outside Šamac on Monday in honour of 37 members of the Army of Republika Srpska and six civilian casualties from the area killed in the 1990s war.

BIJELJINA, August 19 /SRNA/ - Assistant Minister of Sports of Republika Srpska Dragan Jaćimović opened a basketball camp in Dvorovi outside Bijeljina on Monday in the scope of the Summer School of Sports for which the government allocated BAM200,000 per year.

SALZBURG, August 19 /SRNA/ - Deputy Mayor of Salzburg Bernhard Auinger delivered a waste collection vehicle to mayor of Lopare Rade Savić, a donation from the Austrian city to the municipality in Republika Srpska.

BANJALUKA, August 19 /SRNA/ - BiH Presidency Serb member Milorad Dodik told Srna on Monday it is clear from the events we have been witnessing for the past 11 months that someone is trying to turn Bosnia and Herzegovina into “case Mostar”. Commenting on events regarding the formation of authorities at the BiH level ahead of a Tuesday session of the BiH Presidency, Dodik pointed out that Republika Srpska had not had its representatives in BiH institutions elected by its voters for as long as five years.

SARAJEVO, August 19 /SRNA/ - The EU Delegation to BiH encourages members of the BiH Presidency to overcome their differences through dialogue and compromise on Tuesday in the interest of all BiH citizens, pointing out that the formation of authorities is vital for the country’s progress in the process of EU integration.

SARAJEVO, August 19 /SRNA/ - Staša Košarac, the head of the SNSD caucus in the BiH House of Representatives, says it is very important to respect a statement by the leaders of the SNSD, SDA and HDZ about principles for the formation of authorities and that such a course should be taken without the Annual National Programme /ANP/.

BELGRADE, August 19 /SRNA/ - Miodrag Linta, the chairman of the Serbian Assembly Committee on the diaspora and Serbs in the region, commented on a hoisting of the Ustasha flag on the fence outside a kindergarten in Split that Ustasha forces are conducting a fierce campaign of hatred against Serbs. He called on the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to draft a report on the rehabilitation of the Independent State of Croatia /NDH/ and Ustasha ideology in Croatia and present it to the international community.
