SRPSKA’S PRIMARY GOAL - GENUINE DAYTON AGREEMENT

BANJALUKA, FEBRUARY 27 /SRNA/ - Serb BiH Presidency member and SNSD leader Milorad Dodik has said that the genuine Dayton Agreement, preservation of Republika Srpska and its legitimacy are Republika Srpska’s primary goals, as well to see Serbia strong, as Srpska is more looking at Serbia than at BiH.

“These are legitimate goals and I don’t see what is disputable here. Republika Srpska does not have a plan of secession, not a single decision regarding it has been made, and this is not on the agenda. Republika Srpska’s legitimate goal is the genuine Dayton Agreement,” Dodik said.

He has stressed that he has never called for armed conflicts in BiH, unlike Bakir Izetbegović who a few days ago said: “We will take up arms to defend in a war that which we gained.”

Dodik told a press conference in Banjaluka that BiH was a failed state and that many in the world said that it was unsustainable.

“International interventionism proved unsustainable everywhere. Part of the International Community is conducting the policy of Bosniak leaders in BiH. The most recent example is last night’s statement by Valentin Inzko, who immediately after statements by Bakir Izetbegović, Fahrudin Radončić and Željko Komšić, reiterated that which they said,” Dodik said.

He concluded that Inzko appeared only to reinforce that which they said.

“The policy of joint actions by a part of the International Community and Bosniak politicians is visible with the desire to depict Republika Srpska as a factor of disturbance and to show that they should introduce order in Banjaluka and Republika Srpska. Do they think that wax figures are here who will support Muslims on their orders?” Dodik asked.

He has said that Republika Srpska is not a factor of disturbance, that it does not have the Islamic Declaration by Alija Izetbegović or the SDA Declaration that is full of hatred towards Serbs and Republika Srpska and which is cited by Sarajevo on daily basis.

“This is the cause of all problems here, their hatred towards everything that is Serbian. Izetbegovic’s appropriation of Banjaluka as his Sheher is aimed at deluding his subjects. Banjaluka is Republika Srpska and is not a Sheher and will never be. Banjaluka belongs more to Aleksandar Vučić than to Izetbegović,” Dodik said.

Regarding attacks on Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić that have been coming from Sarajevo as of late, Dodik has said that unlike them, Vučić promotes peace and stability in the region and behaves like a statesman.

“His position is very clear - everything that is happening in Republika Srpska should pass through its institutions. He reiterated on many occasions that he respects BiH and its territorial integrity, but that he cares for Republika Srpska. This is obviously not enough for Sarajevo politicians, so they ask from him some reaction like we don’t know what we should do and like we don’t think for ourselves,” Dodik said.

He has said that BiH is a deeply divided society and that Sarajevo is trying to subsume the whole of BiH under its policy expressed in the Islamic Declaration and the SDA Declaration, which is completely an anti-Dayton document and which is undermining the BiH Constitution. /end/sg
