POPOVIĆ: THEY IMPOSE RECOGNITION OF FALSE GENOCIDE AS NEW CONDITION FOR EU INTEGRATION

BELGRADE, July 11 /SRNA/ - Recent statements by certain European officials clearly imply that Serbia is being given a new requirement for European integration, and that is to admit to the false genocide in Srebrenica and declare itself a genocidal state, says Nenad Popović, the leader of the Serbian People’s Party /SNP/.

"I emphasise there was no genocide in Srebrenica whatsoever and that Serbs will never agree to be branded as a genocidal nation,” stated Popović, a minister in the Serbian Government in charge of innovations and technological development.

According to him, in Srebrenica there was no crime like there was against the Serb people who mark St Peter’s Day as the day of the killing of their innocent victims in Bratunac, reports the SNP.

"Thousands of innocent Serbs, women and children were killed by the criminal Naser Orić and his Mujahideen. Nonetheless, the Brussels bureaucracy has shown no interest in Serb casualties,” said Popović.

He believes it is necessary for Serbia, which is given a fresh humiliating condition of recognising the false genocide in Srebrenica in exchange for progress on the path to the EU, to re-examine the future process of European integration in order to protect its national interests and its people. /end/dš
