BANJALUKA, FEBRUARY, 22 /SRNA/ - The Serb member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik has told SRNA that the reaction of US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia Matthew Palmer is a reflection of the continuity of USA policy in BiH, which threatens Serbs and openly support Bosniaks thinks it can solve the problem in BiH.

"The hundreds of Serbs have been punished, dismissed, imprisoned and disciplined since the signing of the Dayton Agreement, and as you can see, the problem has not disappeared. Neither the Serbs nor the Republika Srpska, as some had wished, have disappeared, nor has our need to live like a normal people disappeared", Dodik said SRNA, asked to comment on Palmer threats against Srpska officials.

He has stressed that BiH is captured by the maximalist and destructive demands of Bosniak politicians, which is uncritically supported by international representatives.

"Instead of spending energy and will to seek solutions for everyone, not just Bosniaks, USA administration officials have threatened and intimidated Serbs for 25 years, regardless of which political party they belonged to. Serbs in Republika Srpska are used to beatings and it does not hurt them anymore, it would be good for everyone to understand it and change their approach to the problem. We are not looking for anything that does not belong to us under the Dayton Agreement and we do not want anything that is to the detriment of others in BiH", Dodik said.

He has said that Republika Srpska will continue to fight peacefully for its constitutionally guaranteed rights, by all legal and political means, regardless of what some international officials say.

"We urge them once again to abandon blind support for Bosniak political goals, to put an end to threats and intimidation, to take an objective approach finally and deal with the depth of the problem in BiH, to which they, consciously or unknowingly, have contributed. And to take seriously that we will not go away, nor we will give anyone our land register", said the Serb member of the BiH Presidency. /end/ bo
