BANJALUKA, FEBRUARY 26 /SRNA/ - A special session of the Republika Srpska National Assembly kicked off in Banjaluka where members should voice their opinion on statements by the Serb member of the BiH Presidency to proclaim a conclusion and decision of the Presidency of February 19 very detrimental to the vital interests of Srpska. Serb BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik told members of Parliament that Đukanović’s visit to BiH should be postponed as Serb national rights in Montenegro are jeopardized, and stressed that this issue should be activated again after the situation is calmed down. Dodik has said that a decision to accept a status agreement between BiH and the EU on activities conducted by Frontex in the territory of BiH that was adopted without consensus is very detrimental to the vital interests of Srpska. Head of the Serbian Caucus in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Maksim Skoko feels that a visit by Đukanović to BiH is inappropriate as the Serbian people in Montenegro are fighting to preserve their churches. Head of the SDS Caucus Miladin Stanić has said that the party is ready for agreement and unity if Dodik withdraws the first conclusion in connection with Đukanović’s visit to BiH.

BANJALUKA, FEBRUARY 26 /SRNA/ - The Bosniak Caucus in the Council of Peoples of Republika Srpska today decided to launch a procedure to protect the vital national interest of the Bosniak people regarding the conclusion of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska in connection with anti-Dayton activities of the BiH Constitutional Court.

BANJALUKA, FEBRUARY 26 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Finance Minister Zora Vidović has said that measures and activities defined by the Economic Reforms Program are comprehensive, and expressed satisfaction with the fact that the Government and all relevant institutions of Srpska, which have technical support from international financial institutions, are working to implement them.

SARAJEVO, FEBRUARY 26 /SRNA/ - Members of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly adopted today a proposed bill on termination of the mandate of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH in its present composition in an urgent procedure, at the proposal of MP Dragan Mektić /SDS/.

BANJALUKA, FEBRUARY 26 /SRNA/ - Serb BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik said today in the Republika Srpska National Assembly that the law on termination of the mandate of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH in its present composition, sponsored by SDS MP Dragan Mektić and which was voted for by the SDS and PDP and Bosniak parties in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, will not pass the Republika Srpska National Assembly.

BANJALUKA, FEBRUARY 26 /SRNA/ - Speaker of the Republika Srpska National Assembly Nedeljko Čubrilović has told Srna that personal and party interests prevailed general interests, and party interests prevailed the interests of Srpska when the SDS and the PDP supported in the BiH Parliamentary Assembly a proposal that a proposed bill on termination of the mandate of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council in its present composition be reviewed in an urgent procedure.
