FAMILIES DISSATISFIED WITH OPERATIONS OF BiH MISSING PERSONS INSTITUTE

BANJALUKA, OCTOBER 13 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Željka Cvijanović and the leadership of the Republika Srpska Organization of Families of Captured and Killed Soldiers and Missing Civilians expressed dissatisfaction with operations and attitude of the BiH Missing Persons Institute towards Serb victims and their families.

Cvijanović spoke with representatives of the Organization at a meeting in Banjaluka about the Organization's activities, challenges it faces, and the search for missing persons, says a press release from the Office of the Republika Srpska President.

It was pointed out at the meeting that the cooperation between the Republika Srpska Organization of Families of Captured and Killed Soldiers and Missing Civilians and Republika Srpska institutions is good, and that much was done to improve the status of families belonging to this category.

They also discussed the need to further improve the status of children of fallen soldiers in a way that would imply the involvement of all relevant social actors, from institutions to the business community. /end/sg
