BANJALUKA, OCTOBER 13 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Željka Cvijanović and the leadership of the Republika Srpska Organization of Families of Captured and Killed Soldiers and Missing Civilians expressed dissatisfaction with operations and attitude of the BiH Missing Persons Institute towards Serb victims and their families.

DOBOJ, OCTOBER 13 /SRNA/ - The director of the "Holy Apostle Luke" Hospital in Doboj, Mladen Gajić, is not guilty and there are no grounds to order him held in custody, said his attorney Siniša Mikić, who says that he has material evidence disputing prosecution's allegations that his client abused office in the public procurement of medical equipment during the coronavirus pandemic.

BANJALUKA, OCTOBER 13 /SRNA/ - Serb member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik said today that the law on non-application of the decision of the high representative will be in force, that Srpska will respect its laws and that it does not accept impositions.

SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 13 /SRNA/ - After an informal meeting with Speaker of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, Bakir Izetbegović, and the Second Deputy Speaker, Dragan Čović, Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Nikola Špirić said that there is readiness for talks without international mediators.

SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 13 /SRNA/ - Speaker of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Bakir Izetbegović said today he is ready to talk with Serb member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik in Banjaluka and that a project of an independent Republika Srpska cannot be implemented within the Dayton BiH.

SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 13 /SRNA/ - After an informal meeting with Speaker of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Bakir Izetbegović and First Deputy Speaker Nikola Špirić, Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Dragan Čović said that BiH is at the moment in the worst political situation since the Dayton Accords have been signed.

SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 13 /SRNA/ - Minister of Human Rights and Refugees in the Council of Ministers Miloš Lučić received today a farewell visit from the Apostolic Nuncio in BiH, Archbishop Luigi Pezzuto. They expressed the hope that a mixed commission will be formed soon to implement the international agreement between BiH and the Vatican.

SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 13 /SRNA/ - At a meeting with Speaker of the Swedish Parliament, Andreas Norlen, Chairman of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić and Presidency member Šefik DŽaferović pointed out they expect more than support in words when it comes to enlargement to the countries of the Western Balkans, as it is in the mutual interest.

BANJALUKA, OCTOBER 13 /SRNA/ - Miloš Šolaja, professor at the Faculty of Political Science in Banjaluka, has said that Russia is an unavoidable factor of security in SE Europe despite latest assessments by Presidency members Željko Komšić and Šefik Džaferović that membership in NATO is of crucial political and security importance for BiH.

BELGRADE, OCTOBER 13 /SRNA/ - Belgrade-based political analyst Stevica Deđanski called Željko Komšić, Šefik Džaferović and Latvian President Egilis Levits anti-Russian representatives, saying that two BiH Presidency members had no right to act on behalf of BiH.

SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 13 /SRNA/ - A two-day NATO annual conference under the Operational Capability Assessment Program opened today in Sarajevo with the participation of representatives of Alliance commands, led by NATO's Supreme Allied Command Europe, as well as representatives of 28 partner countries.

BELGRADE, OCTOBER 13 /SRNA/ - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić headed today to Raška for an urgent meeting with representatives of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija, the Serbian Presidency told Tanjug.

BELGRADE, OCTOBER 13 /SRNA/ - Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić called on the International Community, NATO and KFOR to urgently react and curb the power of the prime minister of self-declared Kosovo, Aljbin Kurti, noting that the situation in Kosovo is more than dramatic.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA, OCTOBER 13 /SRNA/ - Srećko Sofronijević, who was wounded today in Zvečan, is in serious condition, Srna was told at a hospital in Kosovska Mitrovica.

DUBROVNIK, OCTOBER 13 /SRNA/ - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers Josip Brkić said in Dubrovnik that the enlargement of the EU is of strategic importance for the Western Balkans, which does not want to be only a recipient of aid, but an active and reliable partner of the EU. /end/sg
