ŽUPLJANIN: REPUBLIKA SRPSKA WAS RIGHT CHALLENGING THE HAGUE TRIBUNAL

BANJA LUKA, FEBRUARY 7 /SRNA/ - The president of the Organization of the Republika Srpska Army /RSA/ Commanding Officers Slobodan Župljanin emphasized that Republika Srpska was right in challenging the jurisdiction of The Hague Tribunal and that no one should have ever agreed to cooperate with that court.

Župljanin told SRNA that this is best confirmed by the decision of U.S. President Donald Trump to impose sanctions on the International Criminal Court /ICC/, which radically changes the overall situation with the tribunal. "Serious conditions have been created for the start of a legal and moral revival of international law and the victims that resulted from unlawful conduct," Župljanin stressed. Župljanin reminded that, according to the tribunal's rules and in the absence of international law, Serbs were handed over, mistreated, and subjected to the most shameless torture in the most uncivilized manner. In his opinion, Republika Srpska should first reject all the tribunal's verdicts in the prescribed procedure, declare them legally invalid and non-existent, and then form a multidisciplinary state team of Republika Srpska. "The team would conduct a detailed analysis and propose a strategy for eliminating all harmful consequences for each individual and Republika Srpska, ensuring fair satisfaction," said Župljanin. He also stressed the need to re-examine the actions of the Court of BiH, based on orders from The Hague Tribunal, and their so-called transferred cases to judicial authorities in BiH and the region. Trump signed an executive order last night imposing sanctions on employees of the ICC due to actions against the U.S. and its allies, including Israel.
