GOGANOVIĆ WALKED OUT OF RECEPTION DUE TO INAPPROPRIATE SPEECH BY DANISH AMBASSADOR

SARAJEVO, MAY 20 /SRNA/ - Deputy Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers, Aleksandar Goganović, told SRNA that he walked out of a reception organized by the Nordic countries on the occasion of their national holidays due to an inappropriate speech by the Danish Ambassador to BiH.

Goganović said he had attended the reception to show respect for their countries and national holidays, as he does when invited to receptions hosted by other ambassadors and military attachés in BiH. "The speech by the Danish Ambassador to BiH was highly inappropriate. Instead of speaking about Denmark's national holiday and sending messages of peace, coexistence, and dialogue, he completely misused the opportunity to talk about the alleged secessionist policies of Republika Srpska and its leadership, despite not being sufficiently familiar with the political situation in BiH," Goganović added. Other representatives of Republika Srpska institutions also left the reception alongside Goganović.
