KARAN THANKS INTERPOL PRESIDENT FOR PROFESSIONALISM

SAINT PETERSBURG, 21 MAY /SRNA/ – The Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska Siniša Karan thanked Interpol President Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi during a meeting in Saint Petersburg for his professionalism regarding the political request made by certain individuals from BiH for the issuance of an international warrant against elected officials of Republika Srpska, which was not granted.
The Interpol President emphasized that Interpol does not interfere in the internal political affairs of countries and that its mission is solely to deal with police-related matters. During the meeting with Al-Raisi, Minister Karan also expressed gratitude for the long-standing professional cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska and this international police organization. Minister Karan used the opportunity to invite the Interpol President and his associates to visit the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska in order to enhance cooperation in the fight against all forms of crime. Karan met with Al-Raisi on the sidelines of the International Legal Forum, which concluded yesterday in Saint Petersburg.
