VUJIČIĆ: BOSNIAK POLITICIANS HIDE BEHIND SCHMIDT, HIS DECISIONS ARE NOT VALID

SARAJEVO, JULY 17 /SRNA/ – Miroslav Vujičić, SNSD representative in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, told SRNA that Bosniak politicians are unwilling to address the country's pressing issues and instead shift responsibility onto Christian Schmidt.

Vujičić emphasized that internal matters must be resolved through domestic dialogue and without foreign interference. He noted that Srpska does not recognize Schmidt as the High Representative, as he was not appointed in accordance with legal procedures. "All decisions he imposes are invalid as far as we are concerned," Vujičić stated, commenting on Schmidt's imposition earlier this morning of a decision in the "Vijadukt" case, which envisages seizing funds from the unified account's excise revenues allocated to Srpska, as well as his decision requiring the Central Bank of BiH to provide funds for new technologies in the electoral process. Vujičić said that Schmidt's actions are entirely unnecessary, since BiH already has elected representatives who were chosen by the people. "They are the ones who should be doing their job, not some Christian Schmidt pretending to be the High Representative," Vujičić remarked. He assessed that the current Bosniak political narrative is misguided, as it relies on hiding behind Schmidt rather than tackling key national issues. "These decisions were imposed because we in Republika Srpska had no one across the table to talk to," Vujičić concluded.
