INVESTMENT CYCLE IN SRPSKA GREATER THAN BAM FOUR BILLION

TESLIĆ, OCTOBER 31 /SRNA/ - The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković has said today that Srpska has potential and significant advantages for foreign investments, and that the current investment cycle is greater than BAM four billion.

"Republika Srpska in 2023 has almost more than BAM 500 million more investments than in the past period," Višković told reporters in Teslić, where he is attending the Invest Srpska Investment Conference. He stated that the advantages of Republika Srpska are reflected in its geographical position, tax and other benefits, despite the aggravating circumstance that manifests itself through the political situation at the BiH level. "Promoting the potential of Republika Srpska is something that needs to be worked on. By attracting investments, we want to create new jobs and thereby improve living conditions," Višković said. Commenting on the fact that diaspora remittances are greater than foreign investments, the Prime Minister of Srpska said that migrations have been high for decades, and that people from these areas who live abroad are always ready to invest in their homeland and help their relatives. The two-day Invest Srpska Investment Conference on increasing investments and developing export results has begun in Teslić today. Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship Vojin Mitrović, Minister of Finance Zora Vidović, Director of Investment and Development Bank /IDB/ Dražen Vrhovac, businessmen, heads of certain local communities and numerous guests are attending the conference under the slogan "Our Vision = Srpska". The conference is organized by the IDB of Republika Srpska and with the support of the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik.
