STEVANDIĆ: ENABLE ALL SERBS FROM SRPSKA TO VOTE IN THE ELECTIONS IN SERBIA

BANJALUKA, DECEMBER 17 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska National Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandić expressed the hope that all Serbs from Srpska will one day get the opportunity to vote in elections in Serbia, as is the case in Croatia.
Stevandić, who voted in Banjaluka at the extraordinary parliamentary elections in Serbia today, says that it was a "regular family obligation", because every his family member has been Serbia’s citizens residing in this country for decades. "I want a peaceful day in Serbia, a nice end to the election process and the continuation of another decade of development and success. I consider this a solemn day," Stevandić told the press after voting at the Consulate General of Serbia in Banjaluka. In the extraordinary parliamentary elections in Serbia, around 11,500 citizens of Serbia residing in BiH will be able to vote at 19 polling stations. Voting requires a valid identification document issued in Serbia, i.e. an identity card or passport of this country. Polling stations will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
