VIŠKOVIĆ: WE DON'T FORGET FRIENDS

SARAJEVO, FEBRUARY 22 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Radovan Višković has pointed out that the Serb people will never forget their friends and what Russian diplomat Vitaly Churkin did before the UN Security Council for the Serb people when he vetoed the British resolution on Serbs being genocidal people.

"We have never forgotten and appreciate every support given to us in crucial moments, which Russia always does throughout our history," said Višković, who is attending a reception in Sarajevo organised tonight by the Russian Embassy on the occasion of the Russian holiday of Defender of the Fatherland Day. The Day of Defenders of the Fatherland is one of the biggest Russian holidays, and it has been celebrated under that name since 1993 to mark the day of the first mass recruitment into the Red Army in Petersburg and Moscow - February 23, 1918, as well as the first combat operation against occupying German army.
