METROPOLITAN HRIZOSTOM: LAW ON BiH RESTITUTION NOT PASSED DELIBERATELY

SARAJEVO, MARCH 7 /SRNA/ - His Eminence Metropolitan Hrizostom of Dabar-Bosnia has stated today that the law on restitution has been passed everywhere in the world, while this document fails to be passed in BiH in a targeted and calculated manner.

Bishop Hrizostom told the press in Sarajevo that the Metropolitanate is fighting for the confiscated property to be returned to the Serbian Orthodox Church, which cannot do so without a law on BiH that, as he stated, is deliberately not being passed. "It's all calculated. Sooner or later they have to pass a law at the BiH level that will accurately and clearly define that confiscated and stolen or in any other way alienated property must be returned to the owners. This has been done everywhere in the world, except in BiH," emphasized Metropolitan Hrizostom. Metropolitan Hrizostom is convinced that the moment will come when everything that was taken away from the Serb, as well as the Jewish, Croat and Muslim peoples will be returned through the law. "That is what is legal. Only then will it be possible to correct the legal curve of the Drina river's history, when the proletarians stole property from the owners," concluded the Metropolitan of Dabar-Bosnia.
