ČOTRIĆ: IT'S NOT JOKE - SRPSKA WANTS USURPER SCHMIDT TO FINALLY QUIT!
BELGRADE, APRIL 1 /SRNA/ - Aphorist Aleksandar Čotrić told SRNA that humor is still needed by Serbs today as a peaceful weapon, and highlighted that on the occasion of April 1 - International Joke Day, the message for what is happening in BiH could be - Srpska wants usurper Schmidt to finally quit!
Čotrić noted that Serbs have always known throughout history to deal with all misfortunes with optimism and humor and that they are among the wittiest people in the world. "It's paradoxical, but only at first glance, that those nations, who had the hardest past, have the most sense of humor. We Serbs are certainly among the peoples who are the wittiest, and this is somehow a diversion from misfortunes and a stand against the powerful," emphasized Čotrić, who is a member of the Serbian Parliament. Čotrić has said that it was recorded as a unique case in history that during the Great War, Serbian soldiers in trenches made humorous posters, mocking the occupiers. "It is also a unique case that a humorous magazine `Jež` was published by Serbian prisoners in the Nazi camp Osnabrück," Čotrić noted. Čotrić mentioned that from the time of the NATO aggression against the FR Yugoslavia, numerous messages are remembered that testify to the resilience of the Serbian people's spirit. "Thousands of witty messages like: `Sorry, we didn't know it was invisible,` `Bombs away,` `We're painting,` `Belgrade, bomb-good day,` and many similar ones confirm that humor is the weapon of the peaceful and those who defend themselves with it. Even today, we need humor and know how to joke at our own and others' expense," said Čotrić. Čotrić said that humor is also an individual's defense against situations they face daily, especially at work where many suffer from mobbing. "One colleague, Slobodan Simić, said: `We didn't ask for all of the capitalism, just their salaries,`" Čotrić said. He has said that it is scientifically proven that optimism is important for both spiritual and physical health and that it is necessary to laugh as much as possible in all situations. Čotrić pointed out that satirists from Serbia and Republika Srpska are at the top of the world. "We are highly connected and collaborate within the Belgrade Aphoristic Circle," he said. Čotrić announced that on Friday, April 5, he will participate in the traditional festival of humor and satire in Bijeljina, organized by Grujo Lero, and in June at the "Kriva Drina" Festival of Humor and Satire in Zvornik. International Joke Day - April 1, is marked today in many countries. On this day, people traditionally joke and entertain by devising harmless pranks and publishing fake news.
