"HITLER'S SHADOWS" HOVERING OVER THE BALKANS AGAIN

Mastilović pointed out that the Bosniak-German Resolution intends to prevent the world public from reacting to new attempts to suppress the Serbian people in this area. "There should be no doubt, bearing in mind historical experience, that this attempt will inevitably follow in the future, it's just a question of when," Mastilović told SRNA. According to him, if Germany and its Balkan allies had honestly faced their Nazi and fascist past, then the UN would have proposed a resolution on the genocide committed against the Serbian people in World War II Instead, Mastilović says, books by war commanders of Nazi divisions, namely those who committed the most terrible crimes in these parts, were published in Germany after the Second World War. "Unfortunately, historical experience tells us that since the 1990s, `Hitler's shadows' have been again hovering over the Balkans," concluded Mastilović.
