LAW ON NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AFTER ADDITIONAL COMPLIANCE IS IN PROCEDURE AGAIN
BANJA LUKA, MAY 28 /SRNA/ - The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, has stated tonight that it was agreed that the Proposal for a Law on a Special Register and Publicity of the Work of Non-Profit Organizations would be withdrawn from today's session of the Parliament of Srpska in order to further harmonize it with the laws that certain European countries have and apply and harmonization with European legal practice.
Dodik posted on the "X" social network that the proposal will be returned to the new procedure in due course after the pairing. He pointed out that in recent days, consultations were held with the Government of Srpska and members of the ruling majority in the National Assembly on the Draft Law on a special register and publicity of the work of non-profit organizations, and that all the legal experts who considered this draft law agreed that it was fully harmonized with the law that the USA has, and that it is milder in terms of form and certain legal norms. "However, certain objections are visible, and they concern European norms, and since Republika Srpska is committed to the European path, we agreed to withdraw it and additionally harmonize it with the laws that some European countries have and apply in order to harmonize it with European legal practice." Dodik said.
