BRNABIĆ: SERBIA COMMITTED TO DAYTON PEACE AGREEMENT AND INVIOLABILITY OF SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA, JULY 9 /SRNA/ - Speaker of the National Assembly of Serbia Ana Brnabić said today in Banja Luka that Serbia desires peace, stability, and cooperation, and appeals for full respect of the Dayton Peace Agreement, which means that BiH consists of two entities and three constituent peoples, and that Republika Srpska is inviolable and indisputable.

"Serbia respects the Dayton Peace Agreement. We also appeal for respect for the Serbian people and the acknowledgment of all their rights wherever they live. We oppose undermining the Dayton Agreement, especially questioning the jurisdictions of Republika Srpska," Brnabić said at a solemn session of the Republika Srpska National Assembly. She emphasized that there is an incredible inversion where those who constantly call for respect for the Dayton Peace Agreement are labeled as wishing for instability and problems, while those who publicly suggest it would be better without the Agreement are said to advocate for peace and stability. "The truth is the opposite of what I have mentioned. Serbia respects the Dayton Agreement and the territorial integrity of BiH, as well as the inviolability of Republika Srpska. Those who publicly wish to undermine the Dayton Agreement wish for uncertainty and problems in the region," Brnabić added. She reiterated that Serbia opposes undermining the Dayton Peace Agreement, especially in terms of weakening and questioning the existence of Republika Srpska, its jurisdictions and its survival.
