KONAKOVIĆ ABUSES DAYTON AND PUSHES BiH INTO NEW PROBLEMS

BELGRADE, AUGUST 9 /SRNA/ - Political analyst Dragomir Anđelković has assessed that the letter of the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers Elmedin Konaković to the members of the Peace Implementation Council /PIC/, the USA and the EU, with the request to keep the OHR in BiH, is the grossest abuse of the Dayton Peace Agreement that is pushing BiH into new problems.

Commenting on Konaković's letter and assessment that "BiH without OHR will become a dysfunctional country exposed to the malignant influence of Russia", Anđelković stated that the malignant influence is exactly what Konaković is doing. "The Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers can only speak about what has been agreed upon. An individual politician can act as he wants, but here a Muslim politician acts from the position of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian factor and presents his position as if it were the position of BiH," Anđelković told SRNA. He pointed out that Konaković's letter confirms that Bosniak politicians want to use the conflict between Russia and the West to once again encourage the West to intervene in their favour. "During the 1990’s war, Alija Izetbegović evidently received a promise from someone that his war goals would be realized by someone else's hands, i.e. that the unitization of BiH would be imposed," Anđelković said. However, Anđelković says, it could not come to that, because the Serb people fiercely resisted it during the aggression against Republika Srpska in the nineties of the last century and after it, so the goals of the Bosniak Sarajevo leadership were not realized. According to him, the so-called Sarajevo elite is now trying to insert their interests into geopolitical games and to present to the West that BiH is exposed to some kind of malignant Russian influence, which is untrue. "Russia in BiH neither has a great influence, nor is it malicious. Finally, Russia has always been a factor that supports the Dayton, and everyone inside BiH and outside it who destroys the Dayton has a malignant influence, so these are serious lies," emphasized Anđelković.
