AGENCY HAS NO INFORMATION ON EXISTENCE OF CAMPS IN SRPSKA

EAST SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 29 /SRNA/ - The State Investigation and Protection Agency /SIPA/ of BiH does not have information on the existence of camps in Republika Srpska where young people are being trained to incite riots, this police agency told SRNA.

It was emphasized that SIPA, in accordance with its jurisdictions, collects information and data on criminal acts and offenders, and monitors and analyzes security situations and phenomena conducive to the emergence and development of crime. As part of these activities, SIPA also addresses issues related to the potential training of BiH citizens for inciting riots, both within BiH and abroad, SIPA told SRNA regarding claims that there are allegedly camps in Republika Srpska. The news about the existence of these camps was disseminated by the U.S. Embassy in BiH, which stated that it is necessary to investigate thoroughly this claim by Moldovan intelligence services. This was strongly denied by Republika Srpska officials, as well as the Russian embassy in BiH.
