SARAJEVO, DECEMBER 5 /SRNA/ - The Russian Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina pointed out that the Steering Board of the Peace Implementation Council /PIC/, instead of looking for a violator of the Dayton Agreement from the outside, should start with itself, because it is clearly acting in contradiction to the provisions of the peace agreement, supporting an illegitimate high representative, which is a paradoxical situation.

"The second paradox is that the Steering Board, hypocritically speaking about the sovereignty and independence of BiH with its mentoring, essentially neo-colonial relationship, only confirms that in reality BiH does not have sovereignty and independence," the Russian Embassy assessed for SRNA regarding yesterday's conclusions of the PIC. In a written response from the Russian Embassy, ​​it is emphasized that life itself demonstrates that the OHR, from an instrument for encouraging the implementation of the Dayton Peace Accords in BiH, is turning into a brake on the way for local parties to reach mutually acceptable agreements, into a tool for imposing Euro-Atlantic values ​​that have nothing to do with Dayton. "Therefore, the longer the OHR is maintained, the more difficult it is for Bosnia and Herzegovina to acquire real sovereignty and independence, to achieve internal political peace and stability," they stated in this diplomatic representation.
