IBRAHIMOVIĆ ACCUSED OF WAR CRIMES AGAINST SERBS IN LIVNO

SARAJEVO, JANUARY 6 /SRNA/ - The Prosecutor's Office of BiH filed an indictment against Muhamed Ibrahimović, accusing him of acting contrary to the Geneva Conventions on civilians protection during armed conflicts in Livno’s primary school used as the prison camp for Serbs as HVO Military Police commander in Livno, announced this judicial institution.

The statement specifies that the indictment charges Ibrahimović with crimes he committed together with other HVO members, including torture, abuse, beatings and other inhumane acts against detained civilians, which resulted in the death of three and lasting consequences for the physical and mental health of other inmates. The Prosecutor's Office notes that the accused is charged with the criminal offense of war crimes against civilians.
