DODIK: WE WILL SUPPORT A NUMBER OF PROJECTS IN BILEĆA BECAUSE WE WANT IT TO DEVELOP

BILEĆA, MARCH 7 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik announced that around BAM 2 million will be transferred by the end of March or the beginning of April for the start of the project of building a new kindergarten in Bileća, a project worth around BAM 4.25 million.

A competition for this project, which is a priority, should be initiated immediately so that all children can be enrolled in the kindergarten," Dodik told reporters after a meeting with the leadership of the municipality of Bileća. "We love Bileća, we have won politically here, and we want it to be the municipality of development next year. I would like to thank all the people who had confidence in us," said Dodik, adding that the Government of Republika Srpska had previously transferred BAM two million for severance pay in this municipality and that recently BAM 1.5 million had been allocated to stabilize the municipal budget. He also mentioned that the reconstruction of the Bileća library building is necessary, for which project documentation is required, and said that next week they will allocate BAM 230,000 for the renovation of the sanitary facilities at the "Golub Kureš" Secondary School Center in Bileća. Dodik also pointed out that the "Petar Drugi Petrović Njegoš" Elementary School requires an energy efficiency program, which will be provided to give the building a new look. He also mentioned that work will be done on the most advanced ecological solutions for the landfill problem in Bileća, as well as for resolving the issues of the "Vodovod" company, which currently has debts of about BAM eight or nine million. This will be discussed in a special meeting in Bileća or Trebinje in a month, as this problem requires the involvement of other entities. The mayor of Bileća, Miodrag Parežanin, emphasized the importance of stabilizing the municipal budget with the help of President Dodik and the funds of BAM 1.5 million they received, noting that Bileća is now able to regularly pay salaries, something that has not happened in a long time. Parežanin highlighted the importance of the mentioned projects for Bileća, especially the new kindergarten with 200 places, which they presented to President Dodik. The total value of the project is around 4.25 million BAM, including furnishings, access roads, equipment, a sports field, and parking spaces. "It will be one of the most beautiful kindergartens in Srpska," said Parežanin. He also mentioned the importance of reconstructing the library building, which will be done, and that a solution for the "Vodovod" will be sought at a thematic meeting in a month. Additionally, the repair of the sanitary facilities in the High School Center will be carried out. "We have also informed the president about the procurement of a vehicle for 'Komunalno' worth BAM 300,000," added Parežanin.
