BANJA LUKA, MARCH 21 /SRNA/ - Professor of the Law Faculty of the Belgrade University, Vladan Petrov, said that Republika Srpska should continue to fight for law and legal order, and emphasized that he believes in the resurrection of the international rule of law.

In Banja Luka, at the scientific meeting "Dayton Peace Accords - 30 years of peace and stability", Petrov stated that Republika Srpska is small, but that does not mean that it or other small nations do not have a special mission to stick to law, justice and universal principles on which the legal order rests. "We don't want to accept that there is a different order and that's why we have to fight in that sense," Petrov said. According to him, it is necessary to respect the Dayton Constitution. He pointed out that BiH has been "floating in the air" since the signing of the Dayton Peace Accords. Petrov pointed out that law is not just a paragraph, and that things should be viewed more broadly. "Lawyers should have a sense of patriotism and togetherness," Petrov pointed out. The scientific meeting "Dayton Peace Accords- 30 years of peace and stability" is organized by the Center for Socio-Political Research, under the auspices of the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik.
