DODIK: FRIENDS SUPPORT US AND UNDERSTAND THE SITUATION

DERVENTA, APRIL 14 /SRNA/ - The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik says that numerous friends in the world understand the situation in Republika Srpska and that he is only accountable to the people who elected him.

"Republika Srpska has never had such a circle of friends. The Russian Federation is with us. I have met with him 26 times and I will see him again in May," Dodik said at a public forum in Derventa. He added that Russian President Vladimir Putin is one of the most powerful persons in the world and that meetings with him are very impressive. Dodik noted that he did not allow BiH to impose sanctions on the Russian Federation, and noted that Republika Srpska, in cooperation with Russia, could have built a gas pipeline through the entire Republika Srpska. "Imagine if we had that gas pipeline now. Countless factories would be built here," said the president of Republika Srpska. He adds that Israel is a friendly country and an important partner of Republika Srpska. "Serbia is always there for us. Hungary is also with us, with whom we have projects in the field of agriculture, where they subsidized the purchase of agricultural machinery," said Dodik. He added that Hungary is not against anyone, but the Federation of BiH is against Hungary.
