DODIK: I AM PERSISTANT IN DEFENDING SRPSKA AND SERB PEOPLE

DERVENTA, APRIL 14 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik has said today that he remains at the Srpska bastion, persistent in defending both it and the Serb people.

"I am proud to belong to the Serbian people. If that is a crime and if Sarajevo wants to put me in prison for it, I remain at the Srpska bastion," Dodik said at a public forum in Derventa. He added that he had been convicted, but that the unconstitutional Court of BiH had not proven anything. "I will continue to invest all my energy in Srpska. I considered it my responsibility," said Dodik. He stated that he understood the processes, adding that it was important to have personality in politics. "If a community does not have a leader, then there is no people either. Examples from history prove it. That is why the West wants to denigrate every Serb leader," said Dodik. He wants, as he says, that Republika Srpska remains stable, he cannot let it go regardless of threats. "I am not interested in BiH. The Serb people here lost Republika Srpska is lost. I am convinced that I am doing the right thing," Dodik stressed.
