IT IS IMPORTANT THAT SRPSKA GETS MODERN, DEMOCRATIC CONSTITUTION

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 17 /SRNA/ - Serb Member and Chairwoman of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović states it is important for Republika Srpska to get a democratic constitution that will maintain the essence of what it is and what it wants to be in the future.

"It is important that we have a modern constitution, which will be democratic," Cvijanović told the press in Banja Luka before the final debate on the draft new constitution of Srpska. She states these are activities that require a lot of attention and expertise. "I am sure this will be the result of the joint work of the people who dedicatedly worked on drafting the text and collecting the opinions of citizens and the professional public, which is particularly important here," said Cvijanović.
