DODIK: THE BRITISH WANTED TO LIQUIDATE ME, I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE

BELGRADE, APRIL 19 /SRNA/ - The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said that he would not be broken by political processes and that he would not give up the fight for Srpska, and pointed out that the British wanted to liquidate him according to the mafia principle, with the story that he "offered resistance".

Dodik stated that he was told this by the prime minister and three presidents of European countries. "They told me that a British unit of about forty soldiers was transferred to BiH with the order, not to arrest me, but to 'nail' me with a story - ``providing resistance'', apparently according to the mafia principle. A man is a problem, if there is no man there is no problem. They have not given up, but they are silent," Dodik told "Večernje Novosti". He pointed out that he does not feel isolated and that he moves normally. Asked if in the scenario that even MPs of the /leader of SDA/Bakir Izetbegović is calling for - that the police of Republika Srpska should be shot if they defend him, Dodik said that no one should get hurt and asked everyone to be rational. "This is a political process. We and our friends see this situation in such a way that Christian Schmidt violated international law, and Muslims supported him. And now a man who is not legitimate makes decisions that I, as the legitimately elected president of Republika Srpska, must respect," Dodik stated. He pointed out that he has dignity and character, that he shows it every day, and that he has never and will not receive Schmidt. "Some accepted him, so now they are apologizing that they will not be doing it anymore, and some are secretly meeting with him. I am not a man who thinks he will stay here forever, but I intend to fight for Republika Srpska as long as I have the support of the people," Dodik emphasized. Dodik, who is also the leader of SNSD, said that for him it is a satisfaction that the people support what he is doing, as shown by the support of 62 percent for Dodik and 40 percent for SNSD, with coalition partners even 50 percent, according to the latest survey. "And now I, who have this kind of support, am being persecuted by the Muslim Inquisition through the fake Schmidt and the fake BiH Prosecutor's Office and is telling me to move away," Dodik stressed. He added that foreigners from Brussels also suggested he should hide. "That won't happen. I won't hide even if NATO comes to arrest me," says Dodik. When it comes to allegations that he is being followed, Dodik said that the Agency for Investigations and Documentation /AID/ - the Muslim military intelligence service - was activated in the matter of his monitoring. "They made the decision to activate every surviving member of AID. They follow us as we cross the borders, follow every step. Let them follow, but I would not recommend them to try anything. If they think they can do something in the area of Srpska, they are seriously mistaken," said Dodik. He said that he entered the process before the unconstitutional court of BiH to show that it was all a political process, which was officially confirmed by Interpol. "With our moves, the previous approach that when the USA imposes sanctions on someone, Europe immediately follows has been broken," emphasized Dodik. He said that he is not disputing the unconstitutional court and prosecutor's office of BiH since yesterday, and that he did so in 2010, when the then high representative of the EU for foreign policy, Catherine Ashton, came to Banja Luka and a joint statement was made that the unconstitutional court of BiH must be reformed and its exact competences determined and that it cannot interfere with the lower-level judiciary. "Essentially, they cannot absolve Naser Orić the wartime commander of the Muslim forces in Srebrenica from the guilt of the mass killing of Serbs, or that the trial of Atif Dudaković, the former commander of the Fifth Corps of the so-called Army of BiH, takes 12 years and waits for him to die, while on the other hand Dodik is judged politically. They calculate that if I am banned from political activity, the SNSD will weaken and Republika Srpska will have no institutional strength," Dodik pointed out. According to him, they managed to create a spin to declare Dayton's opponents those who defend the Constitution. Dodik repeated that he is not Republika Srpska, but that he represents it according to the Constitution and has been legitimately elected president by the will of its citizens, while the opposition only do what they are told in Sarajevo, fighting for positions.
