ZELJKOVIĆ: THE FUTURE OF BiH AND ALL RESPONSIBILITY LIES WITH BOSNIAK POLITICAL REPRESENTATIVES

BANJA LUKA, MAY 19 /SRNA/ - Bogoljub Zeljković, an SNSD member of the Banja Luka City Assembly, told SRNA that it is high time for Bosniak political representatives to sit down with themselves and finally decide whether they support BiH’s European path so the country can finally become sovereign and functional, as all responsibility for its future now lies with them.
"The decision is in the hands of the Bosniaks, as is the fate of BiH, because they bear full responsibility for the current situation which they are trying to escalate daily by attempting, instructed by Christian Schmidt, to impose election losers and illegitimate Serb representatives as a relevant factor in negotiations, for which they lack democratic capacity," Zeljković emphasized. He emphasized that the Bosniak "Troika," closely followed by pro-Bosniak media and like-minded pseudo-analysts, persistently tries to impose representatives on the Serb people, representatives whom Serbs have not elected, as has been evident in every election over the past two decades. He also told SRNA that by consistently refusing dialogue and the adoption of European legislation, it is clear that Bosniaks do not wish to follow BiH’s policy regarding its European path, instead continuing to dream of a unitary BiH and the introduction of Sharia law in the 21st century. "Perhaps what we are seeing and hearing from Sarajevo’s 'Troika' and the SDA is a clear message from Muslims to Europe that they are pursuing a policy that goes beyond the framework of the European agenda, because they do not believe the hypocritical promises and lies that have been told to BiH, Turkey, North Macedonia, and others," said Zeljković. He emphasized that the “problem” with officials and representatives of Republika Srpska is that they speak openly and directly about what they think, without holding back or sugarcoating, just as they have clearly and straightforwardly proposed and adopted European laws. "Now there is no Bosniak support for those laws, and it is clear that all responsibility for the European path and the functionality of BiH lies in the hands of the Bosniak political body. The narrative about Republika Srpska acting unilaterally is a farce and deception, because it is the Muslims, who, by pursuing a unitarist policy, have broken all agreements that were meant to help us jointly build a functional community of Serbs, Croats, and Bosniaks, within two equal entities where no people would be outvoted or have their voice diminished," Zeljković explained. He pointed out that claims accusing Republika Srpska and its representatives of obstruction are manipulative and false. "Those obstructing BiH and its European path are the ones claiming that European laws and agreements are not urgent, as even Kemal Ademović, a member of the House of Peoples, has confirmed. We forced them to come out and publicly tell the people who the real blockers are, and they are certainly not the legitimate Serb representatives but those appointed by Schmidt, who call on Schmidt and demand that he impose a law to politically eliminate the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik," Zeljković stated. He emphasized that the opposition in Republika Srpska is also obstructing European laws, as they say they support European legislation and the idea of European integration, but without Dodik and the SNSD, the largest party in BiH, led by him. The opposition in Srpska, with minimal electoral support, has taken it upon itself, along with Schmidt’s full backing, to condition the European path by seeking foreign support to make up for their lack of legitimacy, openly showing that they have no real stance on Europe, no stance on Serb interests, and even less on anything related to BiH," Zeljković stressed. He said that the only clear position the opposition in Republika Srpska holds is on Milorad Dodik. "They would even side with the devil if he said Dodik is not good. That’s one of the key reasons they are the biggest losers in the elections, primarily because the people don’t like them, don’t want them, and don’t support them, since they repeat the same narrative as the Muslims. That’s why the Muslim 'Troika' praises them and presents them to foreign actors as the solution to all their problems, because they are the ones who will agree to anything, sell out Srpska, to come to power. And the best example of that is the delegate known as the ‘kinder egg’,” Zeljković said. Zeljković said that a European future for BiH cannot be built as long as the narrative of Bosniaks as the "largest ethnic group" continues to be pushed. "Bosniaks need to put an end to their unitarist rhetoric. Only then can we talk, reach agreements, and look for solutions in line with the Dayton Agreement, now when there’s no one left to twist arms, trip us up, or issue threats, now that they’ve seen we didn’t back down even when they, together with Michael Murphy, pushed us against the wall and imposed sanctions on all of us, born and unborn. You tried, but the bluff failed. Now, an agreement among the locally elected representatives of the three equal constituent peoples and the two entities, without interference, prompting, or blackmail, is the only thing that remains. Serbs, Bosniaks, and Croats need only one thing: an agreement on a functional BiH where everyone has equal rights, so that the people can finally start living normally, something we have always advocated for," Zeljković said.
