FREEDOM AND UNITY MUST BE ENSURED FOR COMING DECADES

BANJA LUKA, MAY 21 /SRNA/ – The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik emphasized today in Banja Luka that the Serb people must be guaranteed freedom, unity, and the preservation of Republika Srpska in the decades to come.
"I believe that we can endure by adhering to the fundamental principles I've spoken about. This comes as a result of my many years of personal political experience as an elected representative of the people," Dodik stated in his address at the special session of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska. Dodik stressed that others will only be as strong as Republika Srpska allows them to be. "That is why you must return power to the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, because there are no less or more important topics. All issues matter," Dodik said. He underscored that the fate of the Serb people lies in the hands of responsible individuals and the institutions of Republika Srpska. "What we must ensure for our people is dignity, but also the preservation of love for others. I love the Serbian people because they do not hate others," Dodik said. The President of Republika Srpska noted that he persistently fights for himself as well and that he will not give up. "Generations of many politicians have been persecuted, and that is why I am proud of my colleagues and all of you—of the Speaker of the National Assembly Nenad Stevandić and Prime Minister Radovan Višković. All of you, despite the challenges you face, do not give up on this idea," Dodik concluded.
