INSTEAD OF SOLUTIONS, KONAKOVIĆ OFFERS ACCUSATIONS AND DISTORTIONS

SARAJEVO, MAY 21 /SRNA/ – Head of the SNSD Caucus in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Sanja Vulić stated that the leader of the People and Justice party Elmedin Konaković speaks publicly about the "European path," while offering no concrete initiatives or solutions.
"He is a politician who is not even the formal leader of his own political grouping - the `Troika` is led by Sabina Ćudić and Peđa Kojović - and it is becoming increasingly clear that he is losing support within his own party, where open discussions are underway about a leadership race between Denis Zvizdić and Kemal Adamović," Vulić told SRNA. She assessed that Konaković is a politician acting in a state of panic, because where he holds power — he has no answers. "Instead of solutions, he offers accusations and narrative distortions, while his strongest political opponent and critic remains Professor Dr. Sebija Izetbegović, who surpasses him with arguments and political decisiveness," Vulić pointed out. According to her, "only someone who harbors such potential within themselves could call another person a terrorist". "The attempt to delegitimize the elected President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, through coordinated actions by parts of the judiciary, the international representative, and politicians like Konaković, constitutes a serious blow to the constitutional order of BiH," she said. Vulić noted that, in a truly democratic and lawful state, Konaković would already be held accountable for hate speech, political misuse of the judiciary, and inciting intolerance. "Instead, BiH functions as a protectorate, in which institutional mechanisms are used to marginalize and suppress the will of the Serb and Croat peoples," she said. Vulić emphasized that all of Konaković's "insane political fantasies," including the idea that he could politically - or in any way - "assassinate" Milorad Dodik, will remain nothing but unfulfilled dreams. "Dodik represents the will of the Serb people and is the legitimate President of Republika Srpska — a man who will never betray his people or his republic. Republika Srpska will not give up its president! Respect the Dayton Agreement and stop dreaming about a unitary BiH — because that will never become reality," she concluded. Konaković, in statements to federal media, among other things, accused Dodik of allegedly being under full command and control of Moscow and of working to dismantle the BiH system.
