BANJA LUKA, MAY 24 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik has emphasized that he is proposing a dialogue among the signatories of the Dayton Accords to determine whether BiH has a future.

Dodik reiterated his proposal for a structured, time-limited dialogue between the signatories of the Dayton Peace Agreement - Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH - and the three constituent peoples: Serbs, Croats, and Bosniaks. The goal is to determine whether BiH has a viable future. "A dialogue that is not imposed by decrees, but conducted through the mediation of constructive diplomacy. A dialogue that is not held in secret, but with full transparency," Dodik stated in a post on X /formerly Twitter/, referencing his recent speech at a special session of the Republika Srpska National Assembly. Christopher Landau, U.S. Deputy Secretary of State, emphasized in his speech about BiH at the NATO meeting in Dayton that agreements must be respected, and that the United States is willing to work with all parties in BiH and wants to help. "We are willing to listen and work with all involved parties. Agreements must be firmly respected, but you must be flexible and adaptable to changing times," Landau said.
