MEETINGS WITH SCHMIDT DO NOT CONTRIBUTE TO EASING CRISIS IN BiH

GRADIŠKA, JUNE 2 /SRNA/ - DEMOS Leader Nedeljko Čubrilović says the planned meetings, including the one between Republika Srpska opposition parties. HDZ BiH, and the Federation's "Troika" coalition with the illegal Christian Schmidt, do not contribute to easing the political crisis in BiH.

"For that reason, I believe that such meetings, which lack the capacity to implement their conclusions, do not contribute to political stability in BiH," Čubrilović told the press in Gradiška. Representatives of the Office of the High Representative /OHR/ have called on opposition parties from Republika Srpska - the PDP, SDS, and the For Justice and Order Movement - as well as the "Troika" parties from the Federation of BiH - SDP, NiP, and NS - along with the HDZ BiH, to a meeting scheduled for tomorrow in Sarajevo. The meeting is expected to address the current political situation in BiH and the unblocking of the country's path toward European integration.
