DODIK: AS LONG AS SRPSKA AND SNSD EXIST, KOSOVO AND METOHIJA WILL FOREVER BE SERBIA!

BANJA LUKA, JUNE 2 /SRNA/ – As long as Republika Srpska and the SNSD exist, Kosovo and Metohija will forever be Serbia, stated the President of Srpska and SNSD leader Milorad Dodik.

"This is not a matter of daily politics, but a historical, legal, and moral position that no one will change – not even Elmedin Konaković. While he tries to score political points by working against Serbs and Serbia, he should know – he does not conduct the foreign policy of Republika Srpska or BiH, nor can he change the clear stance of Srpska and BiH that Kosovo and Metohija are Serbia. Period," Dodik emphasized. Dodik said that Konaković’s visit to Priština was not on behalf of BiH and that he has neither the legitimacy nor the mandate to conduct foreign policy, let alone to speak on behalf of the Serb people. "The fact that he attempted to use public funds to promote himself where no one invited him is yet another sign of his disrespect for Serbs and the hatred he can no longer even hide. At the same time, he undermines the Dayton principles on which BiH can solely function," the President of Srpska stressed. At a time when everyone in the region knows that unilateral actions are a thing of the past, Dodik added, Konaković demonstrates political irresponsibility by pandering to those who would most gladly erase both the Serbs and Serbia from the region. "But let him know – he will not succeed. Republika Srpska stands firmly by Serbia. Serbs will never agree to the recognition of the secession of their holy land," Dodik emphasized.
