METROPOLITAN LUKIJAN: DODIK ADVOCATES FOR PROSPERITY OF THE SERB PEOPLE

BUDAPEST, JUNE 4 /SRNA/ – His Eminence Metropolitan Lukijan of Buda emphasized today in Budapest, during the meeting with the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, that he values Dodik’s efforts to ensure the prosperity of the Serb people wherever they may live.

"Dear President, we follow your work and we see that it is not without risk. Unfortunately, this endangers your personal safety," said Metropolitan Lukijan. He remarked that the Serb people are a thorn in the side of many, but that this will not remain the case for much longer. "We thank you for visiting Budapest often and for strengthening the ties between our two peoples," Bishop Lukijan emphasized. The bishop presented President Dodik with a Charter of Love, Goodness, and Effort. President Dodik was also greeted in the church courtyard by children attending the Serbian school in Budapest.
