DELEGATION ARRIVED IN MOSCOW, WILL ATTEND MEETING OF COMMISSION FOR COOPERATION BETWEEN RUSSIA'S STATE DUMA AND SRPSKA'S NATIONAL ASSEMBLY

BANJA LUKA, JUNE 8 /SRNA/ - A delegation of the Republika Srpska National Assembly will attend the first meeting of the Commission for Cooperation between the National Assembly and the State Duma of the Russian Federation tomorrow in Moscow.

The meeting will begin at 11:00 in the premises of the State Duma, and the agenda will include topics important for strengthening relations between the two parliaments, such as mutual support in international matters, implementation of joint projects, and enhancement of humanitarian cooperation. A parliamentary delegation from Republika Srpska arrived in Moscow today, where they were welcomed at the airport by Sergei Vladimirovich Kabishev, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education, the National Assembly announced. The Commission was established as a result of the Cooperation Agreement signed in March 2024 by the Speaker of the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, and the Speaker of the Republika Srpska National Assembly, Nenad Stevandić. As part of the visit, a meeting is scheduled between the delegation and Aleksandr Babakov, Deputy Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation. The delegation of the Republika Srpska National Assembly is led by Member of Parliament Ranka Perić Romić and includes MPs Maja Dragojević-Stojić, Milica Lovrić, Siniša Mijatović, and Aleksandar Trninić.
