TRIŠIĆ-BABIĆ: SARAJEVO DEMONSTRATES HOSTILITY TOWARD RELIGIOUS LEADERS

BANJA LUKA, JUNE 13 /SRNA/ - Advisor to the President of Republika Srpska, Ana Trišić-Babić, told SRNA that by canceling the European Conference of Rabbis, Sarajevo openly demonstrated hostility toward religious leaders, in this case, toward Jews.

"It has become clear, as we from Republika Srpska have long said, that this is not the Sarajevo people remember. Sarajevo is not the same Sarajevo when the Film Festival is taking place, giving the impression of a multiethnic city. We are witnesses to how many Serbs and Croats have left Sarajevo, and in the end, they have admitted what they are and what the true nature of relations is," Trišić-Babić said in the SRNA podcast. Due to this situation, a suspension of BiH's EU accession path has also been requested. In this regard, Trišić-Babić stated that the SNSD is one of the parties that has contributed the most to EU integration, as it has proposed and supported European laws over the past several years. "The SNSD has never obstructed BiH's path to the EU. Since the signing of the Stabilization and Association Agreement, Republika Srpska has fought, and succeeded, to secure the place granted to it by the Constitution," Trišić-Babić said. She stated that among other parties, primarily Bosniak ones, there is no sincere intention, desire, or even knowledge regarding BiH's EU accession.
