LJUBOJEVIĆ: BOSNIAKS SHOULD RETURN TO THE DAYTON-BASED BiH, NOT TO ONE WHERE THEY SEEK TO MAJORITIZE SERBS AND CROATS

BANJA LUKA, JUNE 16 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska National Assembly Deputy Speaker Anja Ljubojević said that those wishing for the political downfall of President Milorad Dodik will continue to be frustrated, as he will remain the undisputed leader in Republika Srpska for a long time to come.

Commenting on the SDA's position that no political concessions should be made to President Dodik or HDZ leader Dragan Čović, Ljubojević told SRNA that Bosniak political parties have never made, nor are making, any concessions to the constituent peoples of BiH - Serbs and Croats - especially not to Dodik and Čović, nor is anyone expecting them to. "What is expected is their respect for the Dayton Accords and the rights of the three constituent peoples guaranteed by it. No one is asking or demanding anything else from the Bosniaks just that they return to living in the Dayton - based BiH, not the one they dream of - a unitary state in which they would majoritize the other two constituent peoples," Ljubojević emphasized. She points out that Bosniak political parties want to dismantle the Dayton-based BiH together with the opposition from Republika Srpska and in doing so, strip the peoples of their rights. "The Bosniak bloc plans, through the opposition, to do away with Republika Srpska and permanently silence the Croats as well. That's why they constantly repeat that `no concessions should be made to Dodik and Čović`. Of course, their biggest wish is the political elimination of President Dodik, because he’s their main obstacle on this fantasy path of theirs," Ljubojević said. She adds that such wishes will remain just wishes as Milorad Dodik is elected by the people of Republika Srpska, not by the SDA, by Sarajevo, or by the so-called `Troika` from Republika Srpska.
