BOLT: I AM GLAD TO BE PART OF EXPO 2027 EXHIBITION

BELGRADE, JUNE 17 /SRNA/ - Multiple Olympic champion and athletics record holder Usain Bolt said he is glad to be part of the Expo 2027 exhibition in Belgrade and to have the opportunity to introduce people from around the world to the beauty of Serbia.

Bolt, who met today in Belgrade with Serbia's President Aleksandar Vučić, said they discussed the expansion of all these efforts and how the country will continue to develop. "We talked about a beautiful part of the city – Belgrade Waterfront. I'm glad to be a part of it and to help more people learn about the beauty of Serbia," said Bolt. The Jamaican athlete said he has good friends from Serbia and that it is an honor for him to visit this beautiful country. Vučić said that, in addition to Bolt, other athletes and actors will serve as promoters, including a well-known American actor whose name will be revealed in September. He said that Expo 2027 is proof that Serbia can be just as successful as the most developed countries in the world. "We want Expo 2027 to be the biggest event ever held globally. So far, 115 countries have confirmed their participation. Astana had 117, which is the record, and we expect to have over 135 participating countries, to break records and be the best of all time," Vučić said.
