VULIĆ: OSCE IN BiH - POLITICAL INSTRUMENT FOR UNITARIZATION

SARAJEVO, AUGUST 9 /SRNA/ - Sanja Vulić, Head of the SNSD Caucus in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, told SRNA that the OSCE in BiH is merely a political tool for unitarization and that it would be best if it were to leave BiH.

Vulić said that the OSCE is interpreting laws selectively and reminded of the fact that no one from this international organization reacts when illegitimately appointed Christian Schmidt "tramples over" the BiH Constitution and "destroys" the Dayton Peace Agreement, without any legal basis. "Now, they are invoking the Election Law and the decisions of the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH as if they were holy scripture," Vulić said, after federal media published messages from the OSCE stating that the CEC's decisions are binding, while citing and interpreting the BiH Election Law. Vulić emphasized that it is disgraceful to remain silent about the imposition of an illegitimate foreigner /as the high representative/ while talking about the rule of law and democratic principles. "Ladies and gentlemen, you have lost credibility, and this happens when your press releases are written by local staff," Vulić said. Vulić reminded that Article 1, Paragraph 2 of the BiH Constitution states that BiH is a democratic country functioning based on the rule of law and free elections, in which the Serb people elected their president, Milorad Dodik. "That is a fact. Where were you when powers were usurped, laws imposed, when Schmidt, who has no legitimacy whatsoever, suspended the will of the people? You were silent then. You had no problem with someone who was not elected here making laws and dispensing justice," Vulić said. She stated that the true face of the OSCE is biased, insidious, and hypocritical, and that its actions are directed against the Serb people. "You no longer have the right to invoke the law, because you do not respect it yourselves. You, just like the OHR, have become mere political instruments in the service of the unitarization of BiH. You are not here to preserve peace, or Dayton, but to quietly dismantle it. And when the Serb people and the institutions of Republika Srpska rise to defend it, then you become ‘concerned.’ You have played the role of the international community long enough; the people have seen through you," Vulić said. She added that it is obvious for the OSCE Mission in BiH that they are in Sarajevo and fully under Sarajevo’s narratives of “what would happen if.”
