KALINIĆ: AS EXPECTED FROM THE OPPOSITION - PEOPLE THINK MORE MATURELY AND WITH A GREATER SENSE OF STATEHOOD

EAST SARAJEVO, AUGUST 23 /SRNA/ - The former Speaker of the Republika Srpska National Assembly, Dragan Kalinić, stated that he is convinced the majority of people in Srpska think differently, more maturely and with a greater sense of statehood, than the opposition in the Republika Srpska Parliament, which did not support the decision to call a referendum.

"Nothing else could have been expected from this missile guided by the OHR and the Sarajevo 'čaršija.' I am neither disappointed nor saddened. Everyone chooses their own path. When times get tough, the main road is usually bypassed," Kalinić told SRNA. The National Assembly of Republika Srpska adopted on Friday evening a decision to hold a referendum regarding the ruling of the unconstitutional Court of BiH against Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik and the decision of the Central Election Commission of BiH to terminate the mandate of President Dodik, setting the referendum date for October 25. The referendum question reads: "Do you accept the decisions of the unelected foreigner, Christian Schmidt, and the verdicts of the unconstitutional Court of BiH against the President of Republika Srpska, as well as the decision of the CEC to terminate the mandate of Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik?"
