SELAK: SPS TO PROPOSE ONE MINISTER FOR NEW GOVERNMENT

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 26 /SRNA/ – The president of the Socialist Party of Republika Srpska /SPS/ Goran Selak stated that the mandate-holder Savo Minić invited the party to propose one Republika Srpska minister for the formation of the new government.

Selak noted that SPS will discuss the personal proposal within the party bodies. "We are loyal and devoted to Republika Srpska. We made ourselves available to Minić and the President of Republika Srpska /Milorad/ Dodik, so that in the most challenging times for Republika Srpska we are all united, and to invite all social partners, representatives of citizens' associations, and political parties to be united and at Republika Srpska's disposal," Selak told journalists in Banja Luka after consultations with Minić. He added that no specific ministries were discussed. "They only told us that SPS should be part of Minić's new cabinet and that it should represent the Serb people, which we accepted," Selak said. After today's consultations with political party representatives, Prime Minister-designate Minić held a press conference at 3:30 p.m., which SRNA broadcasted live on its YouTube channel.
