MINIĆ: I WILL REQUEST A PARLIAMENT SESSION ON FORMATION OF GOVERNMENT ON FRIDAY

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 26 /SRNA/ – Savo Minić, the Prime Minister-designate of Republika Srpska, announced today in Banja Luka that he plans to request the scheduling of a session of the National Assembly on Friday, August 29, for the election of the new government.

"I expect the session of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska to take place next Wednesday," Minić said at a press conference following consultations with representatives of political parties. He noted that the first day of consultations with the parties forming the government went very smoothly and in a highly constructive atmosphere. "The energy I anticipated was clearly felt. Being a designate is a challenge, but the support of coalition partners for everything outlined in the government expose—and for the points raised by the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik—is essential," Minić said. He added that the schedules and operational plans of the new government will be finalized soon. "Regarding the savings for all newborns in Srpska, there will be a fund for alimony. We will also address public enterprises. Although a single year does not allow for full implementation of long-term policies, I am confident that significant changes will take place," Minić concluded.
