MINIĆ: IDEA IS TO FORM UNITY GOVERNMENT

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 26 /SRNA/ – The Prime Minister-designate of Republika Srpska Savo Minić stated that the idea is to form a unity government that would include as many political parties from Republika Srpska as possible.

Minić noted that the announced entry of the Socialist Party of Republika Srpska /SPS/ into the new government does not mean the removal of any representatives of parties that were part of the previous government. "If someone else joins, they are in any case welcome, but the entry of SPS into the Government of Republika Srpska does not mean removing anyone. On the contrary, we are forming a unity government," Minić said at a press conference following consultations with representatives of political parties in Republika Srpska. Minić added that the Republika Srpska institutions are doing their job, while politicians in Sarajevo are trying to smear and undermine everything, and unfortunately, the opposition from Republika Srpska has joined them. "I am a lawyer by profession, and I know that all of this is within legal norms. I think we should be dealing with much more important matters than their speculations," Minić said.
